About This Class

This class provides a detailed overview of Montana’s notary laws rules, ethics, and best practices. It fulfills the education prerequisites for becoming a notary public in Montana or renewing a commission that will expire within the next twelve months. The session will cover the requirements for completing the various types of notarial acts, journaling, mastering notary certificates, the application process and includes a brief introduction to technology-based notarizations.
